Confirm a physical build without double-deducting

How confirmed builds deduct components exactly once, and what happens if you cancel or reverse a build.

Sample build confirmation dialog listing ingredients and a physical-build stock warning.
Stock changes only when you confirm a physical build.
  1. 1

Launch a build from Make Product or a method workspace; the job holds a snapshot of the cost-to-make lines to use.

  2. 2

When you confirm the physical build, each stock component is deducted once and marked as deducted.

  3. 3

A repeat of the same confirm request is ignored via an idempotency key, so stock never doubles up.

  4. 4

Cancelling or reversing a build returns materials to stock with a reversal transaction, keeping history complete.

What happens next

Finished-stock count rises and the build is recorded with its actual costs. You can invoice from there.
